Habits: We finished up Habit 1: Be Proactive last week and this week we are starting on Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind. It has been really fun seeing the students apply what they are learning about each habit and using it in the classroom and with their classmates. Below is a picture to sum up what we have been talking about in the classroom.
Math: We are starting our next Topic on multiplication. It is important that your child practices their multiplication facts at home until they start remembering their facts. In 4th grade we dive right into multiplying 2 digit by 2 digit numbers, but students will struggle if they do not know their basic facts. Flashcards at night to work on fluency would be great practice for your child!
Social Studies: We finished up our unit on Missouri regions and will move on to Native Americans this week. Below you will find a link to our regions project. If you hover on the dots on the map you can find student created videos and facts :)
