We have had a fun and busy time in 4th grade so far! Below are some pictures from our Native American presentations. You will be able to see these projects at Open House on Tuesday :)
Our first Tiger Pride assembly was last Friday and it was a huge success! We even had our very own classmates, Gentry and Nora, say the Pledge and the National Anthem! Great job girls!

In the classroom...
Math: We have our math assessment over multiplication on Tuesday. It will be really helpful for your child to be practicing their multiplication facts at home.
Social Studies: We start our next unit on Westward Expansion (Lewis & Clark Expedition, Louisiana Purchase, Thomas Jefferson, etc.)
Writing: We are still working hard on our narratives. You will be able to see a rough draft of your child's narrative on Tuesday.
Reading: Thinking about our reading during read to self...making text connections, asking questions, analyzing characters and making inferences. DRA letters are going home with your child on Monday so you are updated on your child's reading level.
