Fall desk cleaning is happening tomorrow! Some of your kiddos may have an overload of papers in their Daily Folder after school. ;)
Make sure you are checking your child's Daily Folder each night, important stuff goes home and we have a lot of fun things coming up!
I have put some assignments in Mastery Connect so if you log in you can see how your child is doing in the different subject areas.
THIS WEEK...
Reading: Finishing up our Daily 5 routine. Students have been reading independently, listening to fluent reading, working on their writing, and working on their spelling words/vocabulary during our reading time. I have also been DRA testing each of the students to see where they are at in their reading. Based on their test results I can group them up in reading groups and work with them specifically on the skills they need to help them become better readers!
Writing: We have been collecting ideas (small moments) from our lives to help us write realistic fiction stories. I am in awe of all the amazing places you all have been! The students have great stories about vacations, family visits, and weekend trips that you all go on. It's been really fun to hear about!
Math: We are working on adding and subtracting mult-digit whole numbers.
Have a wonderful week!!

- Math work may be coming home if it does not get done in class and should be returned the next day. We haven't had too much work sent home, so hopefully we can keep that up!
Have a wonderful week!!
