I hope everyone is having a great weekend and not hating me too much for these biography bottles! ;) It was definitely meant to challenge and motivate the students to be creative and go deeper in their understanding of their famous Missourian. I can't wait to see them tomorrow! We will keep them up for Family Reading Night :)
There is a lot of fun stuff going on this week! It is Read Across America week, so in celebration each day the students can dress up accordingly:
Family Reading Night is this week; Thursday, March 2nd from 6:00-7:00. We will have fun BFG themed games for you and your child to play. You did not have to read the book to join! Just come out and have some fun with your child :) I am looking forward to seeing everyone there!
In the classroom...
We will take a few MAP practice assessments this week for reading and math. Based on the data from those assessments, I will be able to see any gaps that I need to cover with your child in each of those areas. I will look at this data and then when we return from Spring Break I can group the students based on their particular needs. I can also share the data with each of you and let you know where your child stands, as of now, in 4th grade. If you have any questions about this don't hesitate to contact me!
